Problem with file transfer speed
I have Windows Vista and i am having problems with my file transfer speed. When i try to move a file from one folder to another or even deleting the file it takes forever. The other day I downloaded an addon for a game and it was only about 1mb and it took like 10 mins to move the file from one folder to another. I also have a hard time installing any software, sometimes taking hours to install a few CDs of information. Is anyone else having this problem and is there anything that i can do to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you downloaded SP1 and installed that?
I know that we were getting 1.2 or 1.3 mb/sec on our network when we transferred but since I updated all my pcs to SP1, without changing any settings it jumped to 2.7 mb/sec. I also noticed that transfers were faster from folder to folder, and from download to desktop etc...
