Process1_initialization failed

Question

After installing a new operating system (Windows 2000) on my Dell 4100, I now get the following: Stop:0x000006b, 0xc0000102, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x00000000 Process1_initialization failed If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer.  If this screen appears again,follow these steps: Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.  If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any Windows 2000 updates you might need. If your problem continues, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software.  Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.  If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options and then select Safe Mode. ...I have restarted, pressed F8, selected Safe Mode and I get this same message over and over again.  Is this a RAM error? Please advise this frustrated user....thanks

Apparently a RAM problem is one way this error can happen. I had to translate this short note, and I think it's suggesting possible RAM timing problems. All the other Google references I found had to do with XP and GoBack.
