Remove McAfee from Task Bar List?
On my new Dell XPS8500 I have removed McAfee and installed my own preferred Anit-Virus (CA). However the McAfee icon is still left in the TASK BAR List. How dow I remove this? Any ideas. Not critical but nice to remove this unwanted item.

Did you use the McAfee removal tool after uninstalling?

No but I have run the McAfee removal tool and McAfee still appears in the lists of Notification Icons. (Though I choose to hide). But having un-installed McAfee and run the extra tool this should be removed. If I knew where it was in the Registry I could hack it out!

You can try CCleaner to remove remnants of McAfee.
