Security Encrytion WEP & WPA
My laptop OS is XP SP3 it has encryption codes available of WEP or Disable. Why doesn't it give me the option of a WPA encryption???????? Can I get the option on this laptop with current OS ???

The driver for your wireless card must also support WPA in order to have that option. I've never searched for the option absent a router that was actually broadcasting a WPA signal, but I know that when I set my sister's router to WPA for her, my Inspiron 5160 using a Dell 1450 wireless card had no trouble with it. I was running Windows XP with Service Pack 2 at the time and I'm sure Service Pack 3 did nothing to remove that capability.
