Sudden Lost MS OS Verification Key

Suddenly after 5 years, I'm getting a message that my Windows Vista key is wrong and needs validating.  What in the world?  I can't find my key on my software pack, actually I can't find the whole pack right now since I moved.  Where can I find the key?  The one listed on my system information page in my control panel is the one that is wrong.  It is the original OS that came with the system.

The key will be on the COA its possibly faded or peeled off though. However Dell use sip keys to activate preinstalled Vista.
