System restore
I am trying to restore my windows xps 1647 without my windows disk. However when i go into advanced recovery method it requires a windows disk. I have also tried pressing f8 while my system starts to try to restore with the hidden partition with no success. I have also looked through the f12 and f2 menus to no avail. Any help would be much apreciated.

You're going to need a Windows disc.
In the US
www.dell.com/.../ArticleView
Outside the US, you will need to call Dell.
