!!!URGENT!!! I AM UNABLE TO PRINT OUT JPEG's OR GIFS USING WINDOWS VISTA PHOTO GALLERY

I am using a Dell XPS 1330 with a Canon i450 printer. The pictures open up fine but when I try to print them I only get blank paper. please help.

Please give more details: what program(s) are you using to open/print images?

Can you print text with no problems?

text is no problem.

I am using windows photo gallery.

I never print pictures myself, I always upload them to an online photo processor and pick them up locally. However, look at the directions here (near the bottom of the page) for printing images with Vista's photo gallery.
