Unable to disable Dell Datasafe
Hi. I have done a fair bit of research on this and have tried all the basics. I just dont want Dell Datasafe to load at every boot.
- I'm sure its causing boot delay. 130 secs.
- I have removed the 'tick' from Startup items for Dell Datasafe.
- I have gone into Services.msc and stopped and disabled SoftThinks Agent.
- But it still loads every time i boot.
- I dont want to un-install as i believe it is useful if i have a catastrophic failure.

What operating system? Sounds like an older windows. Datasafe is not on windows 10 computers and has been discontinued by Dell. See this article:

It must be possible to uninstall it. Check that page I posted. Have tried uninstalling? It is not doing you any good to keep it since it is discontinued. Search for Uninstall Datasafe.
