Urgent

I am upgrading my Inspiron 1520 from window XP to window 7. However, I am unable to get the drivers. May I know where to get all the drivers please. Thanks

Dell does not support Windows 7 on the 1520.  That doesn't mean it won't work, just that they don't supply the drivers you might need.  Chances are, Windows 7 has most of the drivers needed for the 1520.  Any that it doesn't have or that don't work, you can try the Vista drivers from support.dell.com, or you can try getting drivers from the individual device manufacturer's website.

Run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to get an idea if some of your hardware or software might not work with Windows 7 first:

If everything looks good, then install Windows 7 and go from there trying to find drivers as needed.

Dell don't have Windows 7 drivers listed for this model so I put a list of drivers together here:

The update will go fine as I've done it.

Get the current video driver from Nvidia site.

Win 7 has the correct drivers built in for your modem, LAN and wireless.

Use the sd, BT  and audio drivers from dell for the 1150 vista platform.
