Vista and the Blue Screen Of Death (BSOB)

Recently my computer seemed to have random crashes BSOD's. It all began when I started up a video game I have played on occassion. At first I thought it was the software. Then I thought is was the graphic card. After two passes through Dell Tech online taking over my machine, we decided to reinstall Vista. Things seem to work, but once I was back on the internet the random crash seemed to start up again.

We first tried the mirror factory reinstall and then the reinstall from the disk. Nothing seem to work.

Then by accident I found the problem ----- My wireless adapter to the internet

It seems that after eight months of working, Vista do longer liked my wireless internet adapter. What I found was even during the constant BSOD's, that I was using old drivers. When I checked with the manufacture, they told me there were NO drivers for my model. Once I purchased a new Vista compatable device, it now works like a charm.

Moral of the story, make sure all your hardware devices are "vista" compatable, even your old printer, and anything else you have attached.
