W32:Ramnit B and reinstalling W7
I've had the misfortune of being infected with the W32:Ramnit B virus and it looks like a W7 reinstallation is required - I have the 'Dell Backup and Recovery' solution with a factory image, however will this be a safe option or will the image be infected?

The Dell PC Restore should reformat the hard drive and remove any virus as long as you use the correct option. Have you checked with our Virus removal experts to see if there is anything else you can do before a complete reinstall? Virus Section
