Wifi catcher not working
I had to reload all software on my Latitude D830. Since then I cant get the wifi catcher to do anything. I have to use a usb from netgear to get on internet

Do you mean the network adapter? Reinstall the network card drivers from Dell Downloads and Drivers for your model computer. If a new driver doesn't work, the adapter might have failed. Keep using the usb device. It might even be better/faster than the old one.
Remember that laptops don't last forever and that model is from 2007. Think about replacing it with a newer model.
