Win 7 Upddate Issue
I purchased a XPS 1640 in October this year and when I go to the site to register for the free win 7 upgrade it only has 15xx models listed. I need to know how to register so I don't loose out on the free upgrade option.

Did you purchase the system/laptop from Dell, or somewhere else?
If you bought it from somewhere other than direct from Dell, did you subsequently register it on the Dell website? How do I register my new Dell computer?.
If you bought it from a retail outlet: Registering a Dell system purchased from a retail store.
Finally... was this the page on which you tried to apply for the upgrade?
