Windows XP pro SP2 - Windows update not working

I have a Dell Dimension 9150 witn OEM Windows XP Pro SP2.

Just made a reinstall of Win XP and quick formated the disks in the process, and after launching XP first I had a lot of difficulties with missing drivers, but I think I have managed to download an install them all.

My main issue is that Windows update don´t work...

I click windows update from the start menu, and then after a few seconds after looking quite normal, it goes into some wierd 404 page and gives me a loong error code on the left side of the window.

Please anyone, do you have some advice?

For an x86-based computer

datajo.

When you reinstalled the operating system, did you install the Desktop/Notebook system software and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Start with the Desktop/Notebook system software and the chipset drivers and follow the list.
