Yahoo webcam error

I am using Windows Vista Home Premium.  I am attempting to run my webcam on yahoo instant messenger 8.1 and each time I try this it states:  "a network error occured while connecting to the server."  I have never rec'd this error before.  I have read all the yahoo help pages and posting issues on this and have done everything that it says, still nothing.  I have also made sure that my NIS 2007 is set appropriately.  Can someone help?
