dell a920 printer

Have had my dell pc for 3 years...have upgraded the operating system to VISTA.  Over the last 3 years

have upgraded printer to 920..memory..monitor...firewire...external haqrd drive..not to mention lots of printer cartridges.  Can not understand why Dell is making those of us with these printers wait until April for updated drivers.  IT'S NOT LIKE VISTA JUST SUDDENLY APPEARED...OF COURSE UNTIL THE NEW DRIVER IS AVAILABLE MY PPRINTER IS USELESS...NOT TO MENTION MY INK CARTRIDGES WILL PROBABLY DRY OUT... IT'S ENOUGH TO MAKE A DELL CUSTOMER GO TO A COMPETITOR!!!!!
