dsca exe. application error

When I boot my computer I am getting the following popup window,

The application failed to initialize (0X0000135).  Click OK to terminate application.

It is located in a window labled   DSCA EXE. APPLICATION.

What is it?    And, how can I fix it.

I have been having a ton of operating software problems and I think I have made them worse by messing with things I know nothing about.  I should have known better.

I am running Windows XP Pro on a Dell 8400 Dimension.

Any help would be appreciated.

Richard

DSCA it means Dell Support Center agent

Located in "C:\Program Files\DellSupportCenter\gs_agent\custom\dsca.exe"

You have to choices:

1. Reinstall dell support center

2. Maybe you have missing files, so you need to do this:

Put you windows xp in your cd drive

Go to start>run>type sfc /scannow>press inter

I have the same problem as zras01 and did exactly as alot4u said to do. But it did not work for me. When I reboot it still comes up with the error message.

uninstall it, unless you use remote desktop support from dell frequently ;)
