problem with a corrupted user profile - Vista Home Premium

Good morning everybody,  I have a problem in my home pc with a corrupted user profile;  we have 3 accounts in the pc and the corrupted one is the Administrator. When I try to log in, the warning message tells it is impossible.  I have tried to create another account with Admin rights, entering through one of the 2 other accounts in Control panel-user account but it doesn't allow me to create a new account .  What could I do to fix the problem ?

Our system is Vista Home premium SP2 32 bit - Dell Inspiron 530 born Dec 2007 - Service Tag

Many thanks and regards,

Luca

I don't use Vista, but this may help:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940765/

If  you don't have a Dell Vista reinstallation disk (essentially the same thing as a regular Vista disk), you may be able to access the same repair option by tapping F8 at the boot screen - Dell pre-installs it on most new systems.  Or, if you're in the US, and don't have the disk, request it here:

This thread may also help (HAA = Hidden Administrator Account):
