system recovery media
hello there i have recently bought dell xps l502x can any body tell me what is this SYSTEM RECOVERY MEDIA and how to use it .....

You have a few options.
1. You have a hidden partition with which you can restore to the factory settings here.
2. You have the Dell DataSafe program in which you can create recovery media, see here. You are advised by Dell to do this as soon as possible.
3. You can download a retail Windows 7 .iso and perform a clean install. Should you go down this method refer to my wiki below. I prefer this method and find it to offer the best performance (I have done this opposed to 1 and 2).
