1.4 Enterprise - AD integration

The AD integration for WMS is quite frankly horrible.

Each time a support user is added to the AD group, we have to log in to WMS, enter AD credentials then enter the DN of the Active Directory OU and a keyword to search for.  This information needs to be stored and the ability to automate the user addition.  Honestly, the AD integration offers ZERO benefit. We have to manually select the Security group that it finds and manually import the users.  What's more, you have to set the permissions for each role, each time you add a user.  Adding 30 "view only" users is a headache and consists to too much redundant work.

Also, when a user is removed from the AD group, they are not removed from WMS. Honestly, I can enter users manually, faster than the AD integration.  This was the sole purpose for us purchasing the Enterprise version, and with 800 seats, it was not cheap.

What I have purchased is a headache.

Unfortunately, this problem has been reported multiple times since version 1.0. There is no recommended solution from Dell.

An unofficial solution is to add entries directly into the stratus database using MongoDB Compass (UserID: stratus, Pass: ) or wait until the API is added.
