Cannot update Dell WMS on Windows Server
Hello,
i have installed Dell WMS v 1.1 on Windows Server 2012 R2
Now i wanted to update to 1.2 or 1.3 (goes directly) and got this error:
Setup could not retrieve database details.
Please remove existing WMS befor continuing the installation. Setup will abort now.
i saw this article, but it not solved the problem, altough i dont know what regkey i have to edit / add

For what it's worth 2 years later, I just had a similar issue with this error trying to upgrade from WMS 3.0 to WMS 3.1. My issue was actually being caused by a lack of drive space for the install. I added more space and that resolved my issue.
