WMS spinning wheel in Groups & Configs

We have rebuilt our WMS server on 3.3 and restored the mongo and MYSQL databases which has completed successfully. However we are unable to see the lists of groups in the 'Groups & Configs' tree on the left hand side we just get a spinning wheel... Currently the only way we can view the groups is to go into the 'Portal Administration' tab and click on 'thin clients'

Has anyone else experienced similar behaviour and implemented a fix/workaround?
