Please try next steps:
1) in PocketCloud Settings log out from Auto Discovery
2) on your PC log out from PocketCloud Windows Companion Google account and re-login again
3) Re-launch PocketCloud app on the device
4) Login in Auto Discovery again
5) Try to connect to the machine

Are you using VNC or RDP? What OS you are trying to connect?

Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
yes remove access is set to allow "allow connections from computers running any version of remote desktop"

If you are using Vista Home Edition you will need to install TightVNC 2.0.2 as well from http://www.tightvnc.com/download.php.
Use Self-installing package for Windows.

Please let us know what Vista edition you are using on your PC. It will help us a lot.
Also please check if "Allow Remote Access" check box is checked on your PC.
Control Panel > System > Allow Remote Access.
Thanks

Are you trying to connect to your Home PC or Work PC?
Could you please check Windows Companion Settings.
Right click on Windows Companion icon > Auto Discovery Settings > Options
Check VNC Port. It should be 5900. Then run test. Click TEST button.
Try to connect again via 3G
Let me know if it works.

Please try these steps using 3G:
1) in PocketCloud Settings log out from Auto Discovery Google account
2) on your PC log out and re-login again from PocketCloud Windows Companion Google account
3) Re-launch PocketCloud app on the device
4) Login in Auto Discovery again
5) Try to connect to the machine
