Hardware Keyboard Mapping (Asus TF201; VNC Session)

Hardware Keyboard Mapping (Asus TF201; VNC Session)

I have a German Keybard in my Asus EEEPad. Within pocket cloud pro app, I can not use Shift on Number Keys to get e.g. the Symbols 5=%, 6=&, 7=/, 8=(, 9=) 0==. When pressing SHIFT together with the number, the number is send to the server.
When pressing one of the german umlauts, some very strange chars arrive at the server (but that has lower prio for me).

Shift + Number works perfectly in any other native app on that tablet.
Same error applies when using bluetooth connected keyboard on Android 4.3 phone (Nexus 4).

The VNC server (qemu+kvm on linux with keymap="de" set) perfectly works when connecting with desktop VNC or androidVNC app (but mouse/touchpad control in Pocket Cloud is much better).

Can you fix this issue? Or provide more detailed keyboard configuration in app settings?

Thanks.

Thanks for reporting the issue you are seeing. I am currently looking to get my hands on that device to test it in house.

Is your device's local language set to German or do you just have a German keyboard installed?
