Gmail Login Failed

Gmail Login Failed


I enter my gmail email address along with my password on my work computer and it gives me an error that says Login Failed.


I did the same thing on my home computer this morning and it worked fine.

Any ideas why this would happen?

Shan,
Please make sure the ports 443 and 5222 are open.

They are not open and there is no way for me to do so. My work computer is behind a router/firewall. It was my understanding this app would work without configuring the router?

Dear Shan, As of now these ports should not be blocked via firewall. we will look into this .

Shann, Can you try logging into gmail on the same desktop. Your account might be locked.

hi All, If you are having issues with gmail account, Can you login to gmail using your browser, It might have been locked. You might need to change your password.

I was able to log into my gmail account.

I just installed the windows desktop client from your website so it is the newest version.

I'm getting exact same error and I just downloaded the latest companion from the website
