PocketCloud Windows Companion services won't start

UnhappyPocketCloud Windows Companion services won't start

I am trying to install PocketCloud Windows Companion on a Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3 PC. As far as I can gather, the software installs, but when it reaches the screen where it has to start services it stands still for a while and then come up with the message:

"Error 1920, Service Wyse PocketCloud failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services".

I am the only user of the computer and am thus classified as administrator with full privileges.

I have disabled my virus protection as well to see if that will help, but nothing.

Please help!

Can you verify your .NET is 3.0 or higher? .NET 3.0+ is required for the Companion software.
