RDP Session Disconnected after following all instructions on this forum

Lightbulb RDP Session Disconnected after following all instructions on this forum

Hi.

I used to connect using the free version of Pocket cloud to my PC through the android version about half a year ago.

Now that I have an IPhone, I can no longer connect.. as I keep getting the error: RDP Session Disconnected

I am using the following:

PocketCloud on IPhone 4. Version 2.2.143.
PocketCloud Windows Companion on Windows XP SP3: Version 2.4.13

I can see my PC on the list on my Iphone 4 through AutoDiscovery. Though when I try to connect to it, I always get the same error msg: "RDP Session Disconnected"

I have tried to re-install both versions. (I have not installed the Pro version)

I have tried creating a manual connection and when I try to connect, I get "Host not found" error.

I am not using NLA as it only asks me for more credentials. If so, how would you configure it on a Windows XP?

Please help. Thank you.

Our apologies for the spam. We are working on it.

As for your companion version, was 2.4.13 a typo and did you mean 2.5.13? If you are still running 2.4.13, you will need to update to the latest companion:

Windows XP does not support NLA, so make sure that option is turned off.

What version of Windows XP are you using (Home, Professional, Enterprise)?

Have you taken a look at our knowledge-base articles related to the "RDP session disconnected" error you are getting:

You might also want to make sure PocketCloud is added to any allowed applications lists within your anti-virus and firewall.
