Works on iPhone but not iPad

Works on iPhone but not iPad

I have both an iPhone and an iPad. I have successfully connected on the iPhone with both an RDP and VNC account. However, the iPad will not connect to either using the exact same settings. The VPN connection works, but not PocketCloud. Is there something unique to iPad that does not work? I have exhausted all troubleshooting options. Thanks!

The connection settings were manual, using the host computer's IP address. The exact same settings were used on both the iPhone and iPad, but it only works on the iPhone. I've also eliminated port forwarding as the problem. Something on the iPad is preventing the connection. Any other ideas?

Hi Jason, Are you doing an autoconnection or Manual?
Can you try using the ipaddress of the machine rather than dns name-Just to narrow down the issue.

Yes, VPN is being used on both devices.

IPhone is 3G-S running OS 4.2.1 and iPad is running 4.3. I have isolated the connection on both devices to both wifi and 3G. On both network methods, it is the same. IPhone connects but iPad does not.
