iPad External Display issues
iPad External Display issues
Hello,
I have the Wyse PocketCloud Pro for iOS for iPad. Both PocketCloud and the iPad have the latest updates.
When I connect the iPad to my TV or projector with the Apple composite out cables http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC748ZM/A, and use PocketCloud to connect to my PC or Mac, the display on the TV or projector have a poor resolution. So poor that I cannot make out any words. I didn't see any settings on my TV or my projector that would change anything to help this issue.
On the iPad, the display of the PC or Mac are perfect. I've tried adjusting the resolution on my PC and Mac, but nothing has worked so far. Do you have any suggestions of what might resolve this? Thanks for your time.
Sincerely,
John

One more note that video output is fine with the TV and Projector. YouTube or iTunes movies look perfect.

Are you using the Free or Paid version of the app? The Free version only supports 800x600. For additional resolutions you will need to purchase the Paid app.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm using the Paid version. It's PocketCloud Pro 2.1 for $14.99.

When you click on "Edit" next to the connection what does the "Resolution" setting say?

Does the problem happen with both VNC and RDP?

It does, indeed.
