3040s reverting name back while on DHCP

Hello Dell Community.    We're having a problem with a bunch of 3040s reverting their name back after a reboot.   our guys go into a location and setup the devices and give them a name, based on their department location.   Once they're rebooted, though, they revert back to a "st-4d" name, where 4d is the 7th and 8th character in the MAC Address.    What we've found is if the devide is taken off DHCP and given a hard coded IP the device name sticks as we expect.    We're on WMS1.3.

Has anyone else seen this issue ?   Or know where 'st-4d' is being pulled from ?

WMS 1.3 had a bug in it for terminal name.

If you are using the policy "General Settings (8.5+)", make sure you place $TN in the terminal name field. This will tell the device to retain any custom terminal name.
