The release notes mention that once you upgrade to WTOS 7 on the S-class you cannot downgrade (through central file server) to 6.5. This is because the NVRAM structure is completely different in the new version of code. You may need to use WSI or the USB imaging tool (if supported on S10) to re-image units individually to 6.5

THIS ONLY WORKS IF U HAVE PART NO: 902110-02 ! Not the 902110-02L cause this one has different hardware.

I have found a solution to this. This is not a really good solution, but it works.
Download the Wyse USB Firmware Tool. Then tell it to copy the Firmware from a working ThinClient to the USB key.
When u have this fully working, we can continue to pull the firmware from a existing version 6.x client.
Screw open the thinclient. Take out the flash memory. It should look like the stick above the passive cooler.

Take it out. Put in the usb stick with the configured WYSE USB Firmware Tool in. Boot up the thinclient. When it starts loading GRUB, put the flash back in.
After all this u have stored the firmware to the USBstick. Now u can use the same procedure with this USBstick on the version 7 thinclients, to flash them back to the firmware u pulled out of the other one.

This also works with corrupt FLASH.

Hope this helped u guys!

Greetings.
