Firmware updates over HTTPS
Firmware updates over HTTPS
Does anybody know if it's possible to deploy new firmware to ThinOS devices (in this case D10DP) via HTTPS? It's looking like it isn't as it seems to skip it but if I use the same process via FTP it grabs and installs it. Just curious if anybody else has come across this.
And if the answer is no, how would you deal with needing FTP to configure devices when the auto-configure settings via DHCP point to an HTTPS site? Just a separate vlan that you can use to update via FTP before putting on the normal network?
