--Resolved-- ThinOS 8 C10LE Trap error

--Resolved-- ThinOS 8 C10LE Trap error

Hi - I have deployed the ThinOS beta to a test machine in the office and on boot it waits for the network. After that it errors with this Trap:Page Fault error.

Am I doing something wrong?

Is there a way to recover the device back to ThinOS 7?

Appreciate any help you can give.

Jo,
Thank you for this feedback, and the picture of the trap. Have you place your previous 7.1_xxx firmware back on your file server with wnos.ini settings of "Autoload=1". This will allow automated downgrade of the firmware.

Please advise if this allows you to downgrade your test unit.

Thanks
John

I cannot see the picture by clicking the link "this", could you send it by email? llu@wyse.com

Hi

Setting Autoload=1 does not allow a downgrade. The trap error occurs before the .ini file is read.
