T10 devices very slow to boot

T10 devices very slow to boot

We have a number of Wyse T10 devices that is configured wiyh fixed IP addresses.
We do not at present use central configuration or WDM why no central servers (File or WDM) are specificed in the central configuration of the client and all WDM discovery options are deselected.

However, the client at boot still to try to locate a file server and the timeout for this causes the boot process to take several minutes.

Why does the device try to locate a file server when none has been specified ?
De we need to remove the DHCP options ID to disable central configuration completely and to prevent the device to contact DHCP. We dot not have DHCP available in the VLAN where the devices are located.
