RemoteFX is not support in ThinOS today, only RDP7-based or ICA/HDX connections

Have you tried removing the RemoteFX option on the server specifically for the VM you are connecting to? On Hyper-V its on a per-VM basis instead of globally so this should allow you to connect.
Or are you connecting to "Terminal Server" (i.e not a virtual machine)?

Something slipped into build 113 as 7.0.0_30.01 worked fine against W2K8R2SP1. Maybe some beta code got in there but it should be there? Any way I can tell build 113 not to use RemoteFX even if the server offers it? I would like to try 113 to fix a sound issue I have.

I'm sure disabling remoteFX will work fine, but what about the users who are using it? Surely ThinOS should not negotiate RemoteFX compression if it isn't supported? It didn't in 7.0.0_30.01. Whats the best course of action without turning off RemoteFX. Contact support or downgrade to 7.0.0_30.01. I'm guessing we can't turn off this leaked feature.

Do you have true colors enabled in the wnos.ini file for the connect? I did, and got the same problem.

Are you using RemoteFX with a shared server instead of virtual machines? Apologies for your issues but you are correct that there is no way to turn off the "remoteFX awareness". My understanding is that a release later this year will help with this issue but for now you will need to connect to a non-RFX enabled machine or downgrade to the version you were using before.

We are using remoteFX on a RDS host rather than a virtual host. I'# downgrade for now. Thanks.
