Trying to auto launch a published app
Hello all,
Trying to auto launch a published app, but when i click on settings "auto-connect on start up" is grayed out and have no option to tick that box, however i do have that option enabled on the VDI. where would the option be to enable this?

I am not sure which version of WMS you are running but under WMS 1.4
Remote Connections (8.5+)
VMWare broker
"Sessions to connect Automatically"
If you do not have that box due to being on an older version of WMS you can still do it, but you would need to specify your vmware broker settings not in the broker section, but in the advanced section of the policy. The key field would be the "AutoConnectList="
ConnectionBroker=VMware Host=Enter_VDI_Broker AutoConnectList=yourautolaunchapp SecurityMode=Low ConnectionType=PCoIP

You would use Wyse Management Suite to manage the device via policies and configure auto launch.

Thanks for your response. I'm in the wyse management console, however i do not see any options to enable auto connect for a published application. Can you point me in the right direction?

Trying to launch a published app automatically from Wyse 3040. Have exactly what is listed in the .ini file
ConnectionBroker=VMware Host=Enter_VDI_Broker AutoConnectList=yourautolaunchapp SecurityMode=Low ConnectionType=PCoIP
All that shows upon boot up are the connection settings with everything greyed out except the cancel button.
If I boot into a Windows virtual desktop, I can manually launch the app that way. I don't want to use a desktop, only have the application launch.
Any ideas?
