Wyse T10 Question

Wyse T10 Question

Currently our users are assigned virtual machines via citrix and when they log into our wyse t10 clients they are automatically redirected to their vm.

Is there a way to give our users the option to use RDP connection to our terminal server as well? We want them to have this option in case their virtual machine or citrix is down as a backup means.

We still want them to pass through their citrix VM but if a user doesnt have a VM assigned to them we want that user to be able to use a RDP connection. So basically if all VMs are down we want the ability for our users to use a RDP connection instead.

Does any of that make sense?

Sorry for all the spam, it has been delt with.

If you are configuring the devices using the central INI files, you can define an addition RDP connection that will always be available as long as the device has logged in. As you are using citrix as your connection broker, the client is locked down until the client is authenticated against citrix, Until this authentication happens the RDP connection will not be available to the users. So in the end, you will have a backup RDP connection, but your citrix broker will still need to be available for this to work.
