Updating programs without WDM - D90D7
Updating programs without WDM - D90D7
I am wondering if I can just update programs without WDM that you download from the Wyse site. For example IE 10. Is there a way to update it on the D90D7 without using WDM?

Log on as Administrator and turn off FWBF
- update the program eg. IE 10
- turn on FWBF
And you're done
Otherwise you could probably try update via GPO if you domain it

I would not recommend the update method recommended by Bris 1, as you may run out of disk space on your thin client and be up the proverbial creek. Go to www.wyse.com/kb and select the knowledge base tab. Search on the keywords "third party" and you should see an article on installing third party applications on Windows XPe and WES.
Follow the instructions and you should be OK.
