Wyse 5010 No WDM/WCM icons in control panel...

I just bought a bunch of Dell Wyse 5010s to replace some D90D7s. I do not see any WDM or WCM icons in Control Panel like I would see with the D90D7s. Is that normal? Normally I would manually get them to check in since I do not have access to DHCP options.

Viper,

The 5010's can be ordered with one of 3 different operating systems. Can you tell me which operating system you have installed on your 5010?

I contacted Dell Support and they got me up to speed.

For everyone else...

WDM (Wyse Device Manager) for WES7 has been replaced by WDA (Wyse Device Agent).

Well kind of. You have to launch WDA and select WDM as the management server.

There are no shortcuts for it in Control Panel and it only exists in the system tray next to the clock.

You can access it directly by navigating to C:\Program Files\Wyse\WDA\Bin\DtcWdaUi.exe
