P25 time zone issue

P25 time zone issue

Each time I login using P25 the time zone changes back to Duplin/London's time zone (DST). I change it to the correct time zone; however, it changes back when I log back in. Can someone tell me what I need to do to keep the correct settings?

Xenith Pro overrides Windows Time Zone settings

I have the same problem with a couple of Xenith Pros. It is not "passing through" the windows time zone settings. The regular Xeniths are working fine and the setting are the same on both types. I do notice that when I click "log off", I briefly see the correct Windows time displayed right before screen logs off. Note: I have another Xenith Pro (with older firmware version) that works fine. Would appreciate any help on this. Thanks.

control Time/TimeZone on Zero clients

BlueVeto - to control the timezone/time settings for Xenith / Xenith Pro . .you need to use a Xen.ini file.
the Xen.ini file will contain the location of a SNTP timeserver and the settings for the TimeZone.
go to the Wyse KB and get the Xenith 2 Admin guide for more info on Xen.ini files and the syntax for Timeserver/Timezone.

kneptune - for the P25 you can also set a NTP time server/Time Zone.
to check the current settings.. from your PC open a browser window to the IP address of your P25. you will be challenged for the admin password.. once you login,. click on configuration and then Time. you will see the current settings and be able to set the values here.
you can control settings for multiple P25's using the Teradici PCoIP Management Console.
here is a link for more info.

hope this helps
