@itsjussed Be sure to know the wattage of the stock PSU (460W or 750W) in your XPS 8950 and compare that to the "recommended" PSU wattage for the exact GPU you want, which probably is listed on that GPU manufacturer's site.
Dell offers an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT for the XPS 8950, but OEM video cards are typically designed to work with a smaller PSU, and may have fewer/smaller fans, fewer/different video output ports to save energy.
