DS 07/25: Like using "Windows Event Viewer" to troubleshoot system issues, why or why not?

I think it is very helpful when trouble-shooting a problem. It is nice to see the point and time that an issue occurred.

I do. I can usually pinpoint the problem, especially if it is an application. System problems it can start you looking at the Event Code usually. However, it can also lead you down a trail that never seems to solve the problem. Especially if the 'time' columns don't show repeated numbers,

Critical are the most important, followed by Error. However, in some of them, the Error really isn't? You have to know what you are looking at. Some are normal or do no 'damage'.
