Dell psu 6 pin is effectively 8 pin (all three 12V pinned)
If psu does not have 6+2 pin connector, can use this to make an 8 pin

Can I use this to daisy chain a 3rd PCI connector for an aftermarket 3080ti? I have a 750w XPS 8950 PSU with only two cables with 8 and 6 pins.
