GV-R929OC-4GD | Graphics Card - GIGABYTE Global

Hi,

I have a Dell XPS 450 Windows 7 64 bit OS, Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz 2.39GHz 8 GB Ram and Nvidia Geforce GTS 450.

I have been offered for free, the GV-R929OC-4GD graphics card but am unsure if it would work in with my system.  Would anyone know?

Thanks

NO not even if you have upgraded the power supply. Other requirements--extra room in the case and dual open slots on the board. See this-- https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-R929OC-4GD#ov  Definitely overkill for your old model. I should say ancient 20 yr old model. Time to treat yourself to a new computer. Kudos for getting to work for 20 yrs. A card like that would probably kill it.
