“ No bootable devices were found! Possible causes could be a corrupt OS image or a boot device is not enabled in BIOS setup.”

Rebooting the computer after a Dell update gives the following error “No bootable devices were found! Possible causes could be a corrupt OS image or a boot device is not enabled in BIOS setup.”

No issues were detected on the hardware/memory diagnostics scan. I have tried changing UEIF to Legacy and also loading the defaults in BIOS. None of these steps fixed my issue.

Auto Repair Does not fix this.

Legacy booting is no longer allowed

MBR booting is no longer allowed.

Time to reinstall clean on a new hard drive to recover data from the old using a dock.

With the Boot option set to Legacy boot mode on newer series of Dell systems, you will be unable to boot to internal boot devices (including HDD, SSD, or eMMC storage devices).

Thank you for the response. I am surprised that a Dell computer only 2 years old and used under 100 times would have lasted longer. I think I may have to return to store.
