1916H, HDMI not listed as source input on monitor?

If you are referring tho the Dell E1916H monitor, it only has two input ports, one VGA port and one DisplayPort. There is no HDMI port.

Monitors are not tv's so there is no source input. It will recognize whatever input is connected--vga, dvi, DP or hdmi.
