XPS 400 Windows 2005 Media Edition

My Dad gave this to me. How do I get on internet? It doesn’t seem to have wireless capabilities. Does it need a wireless card or adapter? Thanks

The 2005 XPS 400 has a RJ45 network jack on the rear under the colored audio ports. Plug a RJ45 cable into it and the broadband modem. You would need to open up the tower to ascertain if a WiFi card was installed. If not, just purchase a USB 2.0 WiFi adapter locally. Make sure that the USB 2.0 WiFi adapter has drivers for your operating system.

It is unsafe to connect a windows xp computer to the Internet. XP is no longer supported with security updates. Recycle the computer after cleaning or removing the hard drive.
