XPS 435MT, graphics card died
My Dell XPS 435MT has been my primary home computer since 2009.
The machine came with an AMD 4650(?) GPU which conked off in about 3 years.
I then purchased an XFX card (cannot remember the model) which also gave me trouble at times.
Finally in June 2012, I got the Sapphire HD 6750 1 GB card and was all set.
The choice back then was driven by the low power requirements (thanks to the stock PSU of about 360 W) of this GPU and also the fact that it runs cool (poor ventilation in the case).
I do not intend to play heavy games (except Need For Speed and Chess). Some Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere.
I have two 24 inch Dell monitors with 1080p.
Now I see that the 6750 is no longer available in my country.
What alternatives do I have?
Remember that I do not have option to upgrade the PSU, nor can I fit a long GPU card in the space available.
Thank you in advance.

I would take this as a sign you need to buy a new computer. But there are low profile/low power cards out there. Maybe order online?
You might consider a new psu too--not too big. Nine years is a long life for that and the computer. Maybe it is the psu that has been ruining video cards. I still say buy a new computer before more parts fail.

Did you try the 1050 on the 435MT?
I am still with stock power supply. Will it work?
I am having difficulty in getting a new HD 6750 card now.
