XPS 8900, trying to update bios 2.2.1 to 2.4.0
Hello
I am trying to do the update on the bios from 2.2.1 to 2.4.0. I run the program and will get the prompt for admin and then the program closes as does nothing. Would appreciate any help.

Make sure you right-click the exe, > Properties > Click or check unblock. Then right-click the file and choose run as administrator.
Edit to add that I have updated a few 8900's from 2.2.1 to 2.4.0 without issues.

Thank you for your message. Does the BIOS version in the BIOS screen & OS match?
Try updating version 2.3.0 in elevated mode & then update to 2.4.0
For my reference, please click on the message tab next to your avatar– click “New Message” & search for my Dell username (Sreejith R) & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.
