XPS 8940, GPU Size?
I have an XPS 8940 with the 360W PSU. I plan on upgrading to the 500W Delta 5K7J8 and I need to know if a 3-slot GPU such as the MSI Radeon RX 6650 XT Gaming X will fit in the computer? Do the 360W and 500W PS have the exact same form factor (except for connector out)?

The motherboard is only designed for a dual-width GPU installed in the PCI-e x16 slot (#20) that extends towards the PCI-e x4 slot (#19) which is why the space between the x16 and x4 is wider than between the x16 and x1 (#21).
RX 6650 XT GPU is also ~10.95 inches (278 mm) long which may be too long for this case.

FWIW, the new XPS 8960 will take a 3-slot GPU in the x16 slot, but likely will make all the other PCI-e slots inaccessible.

After upgrading to the 500W P/S, I went with the Zotac RTX3060Ti OC so there was no issue fitting in the slot.
